The Chairman of TRUTH AIDES, a religious youth organization based in the Northern Region is calling on the government and philanthropists to come to their aid to accomplish the aims and objectives of the group.
IMAM HASSAN says lack of funding and other helping hands is impeding the organization’s growth. He said this during the celebration of the group’s ten (10) years anniversary at Fatima Farida School in Zogbeli, Tamale.
The organization was established in July 2013 with a vision to foster unity, peace and wellbeing in the society. The occasion brought together parents, teachers, students and members of the organization. Imam Hassan elaborated that the group has extended aid to the society in general.
They engage in Islamic and Arabic studies to enhance Islam, the organization of extra classes for JHS students and have some of their products in universities and other tertiary schools.
The group has help build a storeroom for the Tuutingli cemetery when its workers cried for infrastructural help and visiting various cemeteries to offer support.
The group visits and help patients at hospitals, organization of workshops to some Islamic instructors, organization of extra classes to junior high school student, annual Iftar for senior high schools and other colleges of education, strengthen unity and sectorial tolerance among members regardless of their differences, provision of support of QURAN teachings and memorization to students, supply of materials to Quran learning centers and also organize Quranic competition to students periodically and encouraging QURAN learning students with gifts and other stuffs.
The group has vision of owning its educational facility in the future from nursery to tertiary. Imam Alhassan invites government, nongovernmental organizations and philanthropists to help the organization to achieve their goals
