You are going nowhere- N/R Minister to Anta
The Northern Regional Minister Ahaji Shani Saibu has admonished the Member of Parliament for Karaga Constituency Dr. Amin Anta to never think of representing Karaga in parliament for only two terms.
He said Ghana needs more materials like the MP in parliament and that his exit will only spell doom to the Northern Regions and Ghana at large.
He share this with displeasure after the MP said he wants to serve in the Ghanaian parliament for only two terms after he wins the 2024 elections and will not contest for 2028 elections at a press soiree organized but the Karaga lawmaker at his private residence at Gukpegu Tua in Tamale.
The Regional Mister fumed that he goes nowhere until the elders of the region are satisfied with his stay in parliament and select his successor, but now he is most need in the house.
He lamented that when the Former Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu was ease of his post he the regional minister was traumatized as the National Democratic Congress could not realize that Mr. Haruna Iddrisu was at the right station for the betterment of the Northern Ghana and the entire country.
He urged Media men present at the soiree to consider a wider reportage on the Northern officials of government and prospective ones to get the positioned on the table where they will bring home food, and that without them at the table they will only bring home bones and the northern region will always be behind in terms of development.
